The Fish Wives Club has an amazing Chardonnay. I'm not going to compare this divine wine with another brand. Why, you may ask? The simple reason is that she stands apart from the others. She is classy, elegant and darn delish.

Everyone knows I'm a chardonnay fan. I especially enjoy them if they're oaked. If not, then the vineyard and year come into play. Oh, and the label, that's very important for my choice.
My First Impressions of The Fish Wives Club Wines.
Ladies and gentlemen, it was the label that drew me to this brand. An absolutely stunning red-haired woman with incredibly long legs riding a fish. "Oooh, that's rather interesting!" Who knew those long legs of hers would describe their Chardonnay perfectly?
My First Taste Of Their Chardonnay
I was intrigued to find that the grapes from The Fish Wives Club are farmed with integrity and sustainability. Now that's rather nice. "Vines grown in the old tradition. Natural winemaking methods. Non-gmo. Zero glyphosate. Vegan friendly. Integrity and sustainability certified."
Okay, so these folks have ethics, nice!
When you swirl the glass, those long legs are clearly evident. There is a fruityness yet an underlying oaky scent that made my mouth salivate. With a mouthful, I bent over to check if my taste buds would go crazy, and they did.
Pros and Cons
The only con I see here is that you may not find it. However, rumour has it they have launched in Europe as well as the USA. So, there is absolutely no excuse not to try it.
The pros: Hello yummy, smooth and super elegant.
The Final Score
"Ever so lightly wooded with American Maple and French Oak, to give her that gorgeous body.
Far too frisky to be kept tucked away in a barrel until you're too old and grouchy to drink the stuff, this fresh and structured Chardonnay flirts outrageously on the palate. She's short skirt and high heels. But sophisticated enough to have a degree from the Sorbonne. A soft mouth feel with a cheeky touch of butterscotch and tropical notes. Pineapple and melon melt into an ever-so-subtle farm-fresh butter finish," says The Fish Wives Club folk in South Africa.
I couldn't have said it better!!!
Pairing
I'm drinking her with red meat, sushi, chicken and or cheese. She's such a classy gal and can be seen with whomever she wants. And certainly whenever she wants. So, lunch, dinner or whenever.
This is my all-time fav!
